Welcome to Care For Feet, a privately owned Podiatry and Chiropody business established by Jo Lambourne.  Foot Care is available in four clinics in Bakewell, Buxton, Chapel-en-le-Frith and New Mills.

If you prefer, Mobile Chiropody visits can be arranged in the High Peak, Hope Valley & North Derbyshire.

As qualified Podiatrists we are foot experts in the medical care of your feet, assessing, diagnosing and treating foot and lower limb problems. Our range of services include nail cutting, corn removal, hard skin/callus removal, cracked heel treatment, reduction of thickened/fungal nails, ingrown toenails, verruca, insole/orthotic prescription, footwear advice and Diabetic foot assessments. As qualified health professionals we treat people with Diabetes, Arthritis, sporting injuries available for people of all ages from children with flat feet to the elderly with painful joints. Our aim is to improve the quality of your life, by reducing pain and increasing mobility.

More than just a pedicure…the term Podiatry more accurately describes the profession and has replaced the name Chiropody. Podiatry is a professional title protected by law, to safeguard the public.  All Podiatrists must undertake 3 years of full-time training at a recognised University. Our Podiatrists are registered members of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and members of the professional body, The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists (MChS). We are qualified and licensed to use local anaesthetics for minor surgical procedures and for the use of certain medicines for treatment of infections and ailments.
